I keep drafting posts and not publishing them, so my task this weekend is to post something more significant.
Today my work team went on an away day, a lovely walk along the North Downs. I was a little “sceptical” at first, thinking a walk in the country was possibly the most boring idea for an away day, but I really enjoyed myself. I got to talk to some colleagues I barely recognised away from their desks. I think we did this route and had lunch at The Sportsman – I had Tennessee Chicken which was absolutely gorgeous.
There was a surreal moment when a rabbit came bounding down a field and lots of people shouted “Awww, cute!”. It did a little skip and then rolled over the way a cat does in the sun, so lots of us assumed it was just sunning itself. Sadly, it started convulsing really badly then just stopped dead. Literally, dead 
It wasn’t nice to see and dampened the mood somewhat! Fortunately, there were no more deaths spotted during our travels.
